    Taylor Swift feared being secretly recorded before the Kardashian feud

    As the ongoing feud between pop superstar Taylor Swift and the Kardashian family is still heating, news outlets have unearthed an old interview where Swift told the reporter that one of her worst nightmares is being secretly recorded.

    For those not familiar with the story, rap star Kanye West released his latest song last week, dubbed “Famous“, during which he mentions Swift. The lyrics referring to Swift contain strong language, which the pop singer said were written without her knowledge and consent.

    In response to the particular claim, West’s wife, Kim Kardashian, posted a video on Snapchat, which shows Kanye talking on the phone with Swift, informing her about the lyrics and asking if he could use them in the song.

    Swift’s response was positive, while she also thanked Kanye for letting her know before publishing it. That particular incident sounded even more harmful for Swift when gossip outlets found out Swift’s fear of being secretly recorded.

    “I have a lot of issues with buildings like this, ’cause I always feel like someone has bugged the room, and is either videoing me or recording me,” Swift told U.K.’s CapitalFM, in an interview that took place in February 2015. “So that’s one of my paranoias.”

    Swift further added that she is petrified by the thought of being wrongfully  framed for murder,

    “I always have nightmares that I’m being framed for murder and then I’m being framed so well that I can’t remember if I did it or not in the dream. So that really winds me up, and then I’m just freaked out for the next couple of days.”

    Moreover, Joseph Kahn, Swift’s close friend and “Bad Blood” music video director, compared Kardashian’s response to Swift, to Nicole Brown Simpson’s 1994 murder.

    “Ain’t the first time the Kardashians supported the murder of an innocent blonde woman,” Kahn tweeted on Monday, July 18.

    Κahn’s tweet allegedly refers to Kim’s late father, famous lawyer Robert Kardashian, who defended former NFL star O.J. Simpson in his trial for the killings of his ex-wife and her friend Ron Goldman. Simpson was acquitted of all charges.

    Miranda Kerr, the former 33-year-old Victoria Secret supermodel, has confirmed on her social media accounts her engagement to Snapchat CEO, Evan Spiegel.

    Kerr broke the news about the marriage on Instagram, where she uploaded a bitmoji photo of Spiegel being on his knees and her responding yes.

    “They’ve fallen hard for each other and are really in love,” an insider told gossip news outlet E! News, months into the relationship.

    “Miranda loves how down to earth and brilliantly smart Evan is. They have incredible conversations and can talk about anything. He comes from a wonderful close-knit and loving family and that was a real draw to her.” the source further added.

    The couple met in 2014, while they officially started dating in June 2015. The Victoria Secret model, who is seven years Spiegel’s senior, was previously married to Hollywood actor Orlando Bloom, from 2010 to 2013, and has a five-year-old son with him.

    Sources close to the couple also say that Spiegel does very well with Kerr’s son, Flynn.

    “Evan is really great with Flynn and they bonded instantly,” the source mentioned. “Evan gets down on the floor and plays with Flynn and is very fun and creative. That’s so important to Miranda and a quality that really stands out about Evan.”

    Furthermore, on a less relevant note, it is worth adding that the 26-year-old Snapchat founder is currently worth at $2 billion, while Forbes estimates that the social network itself is worth well over $20 billion.

    Nevertheless, E! News source suggests that Spiegel, despite being vastly wealthy, is remarkably modest.

    “He’s just so nice, very normal,” the source told E! News. “You would never know about his money. He is really down to earth,”

    There is no info yet regarding when and where the marriage will take place, though we expect to hear more about it quite soon.

    The photo that Gomez uploaded to the service was part of the ‘Share a Coke and a Song‘ campaign, where the gorgeous pop singer is photographed in a simple red top, flaunting her juicy red lips and thick wavy hair while sipping from a bottle of a classic Coke bottle, featuring the artist’s lyrics, “You’re the spark”, on the sticker.

    Furthermore, the photo, at the time of writing, has accumulated well over four million likes and ninety-one thousand comments from Instagram users.

    Bieber’s counterpart, which was posted three months ago, featuring a throwback of him and Gomez kissing in a pool, has achieved 3.7 million likes and a whopping one million comments.

    It is worth noting here that Gomez holds the most followed account of the Facebook-owned photo-sharing platform, at, as of now, 89.1 million followers.

    In fact, her impact  through Instagram is so significant, that Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg invited Gomez to the company’s headquarters, in Palo Alto, California, thus discussing the future of the service and any potential endeavors the two can embark on.

    Furthermore, it should be mentioned here that Gomez has been too busy over the course of the last few months, due to her world tour, with the next stop scheduled to be in Jakarta, Indonesia, on July 23rd, which will be taking place in less than two weeks time.

    On a less relevant note, the third most liked picture on Instagram belongs to Kendall Jenner, star of ‘Keeping up with the Kardashians‘ reality TV show, which features Jenner lying down with her hair spread out as a crown of hearts around her head.

    Instagram confirmed that the particular post was the most liked picture of 2015.

    Leading Hollywood actress, Jennifer Aniston, decided to speak out about the numerous rumors surfacing on the web, falsely suggesting that she is pregnant.

    Aniston, who does not use social media, wrote a long form essay which was published on Hugginton Post, in an effort to address rumors regarding her and tackle the wider problem, which is female body shaming by the media.

    “For the record, I am not pregnant. What I am is fed up. I’m fed up with the sport-like scrutiny and body shaming that occurs daily under the guise of “journalism,” the “First Amendment” and celebrity news.” Aniston stated in the article.

    The speculations regarding Aniston’s pregnancy started spreading after paparazzi’s pictures from her vacation in the Bahamas with husband Justin Theroux emerged on the web.

    Gossip outlets claimed that the Friends actress had a “bump” in the photos, where she was wearing a bikini.

    A spokesperson’s for Aniston denied all sorts of pregnancy rumors. “What you see is her having just enjoyed a delicious big lunch and her feeling safe on private property,”

    The 47-year old actress also described what she and her husband had to go through on a daily basis with the paparazzi.

    “Every day my husband and I are harassed by dozens of aggressive photographers staked outside our home who will go to shocking lengths to obtain any kind of photo, even if it means endangering us or the unlucky pedestrians who happen to be nearby. But setting aside the public safety aspect, I want to focus on the bigger picture of what this insane tabloid ritual represents to all of us.”

    Aniston also talked about her becoming a mother one day, writing that she “may become a mother someday, and since I’m laying it all out there, if I ever do, I will be the first to let you know.“, though at the current moment “I resent being made to feel ‘less than’ because my body is changing and/or I had a burger for lunch and was photographed from a weird angle and therefore deemed one of two things: ‘pregnant’ or ‘fat.’ ” Not to mention the painful awkwardness that comes with being congratulated by friends, coworkers and strangers alike on one’s fictional pregnancy (often a dozen times in a single day).”

    Furthermore, the fact that Hiddleston has been publicly over displaying his affection towards Swift has been commented as quite uncharacteristic, as the British actor was known for maintaining a low-profile about his personal life.

    Circling back to Harris and Scherzinger, the same source that spoke to E! News characterized them as ‘casual friend‘ and nothing more than that.

    “They’re casual friends, and if they see each other at a club or party they will chill,” the source says. “They are not hooking up or hanging out. Calvin isn’t rebounding with anyone at this time.”

    Moreover, the particular claim is further cemented by the fact that the pop singer is still in a relationship with tennis player Grigor Dimitrov, who used to date tennis star Maria Sharapova.

    According to people close to Harris, he is currently having trouble rebalancing from his recent break-up with Swift, whose immediate recovery with Tom Hiddleston might make matters even worse for the 32-year-old DJ.

    Latest gossip reports suggest that reality TV superstar, Khloé Kardashian, has kicked her soon-to-be ex-husband Lamar Odom out of the house she rented for him while he was recovering from his overdose accident in Las Vegas.

    More specifically, the reason behind this decision lies in the fact that she found a crack pipe within the property, which proves that Odom hasn’t still managed to resolve his drug addiction, despite last year’s near-death incident.

    As TMZ has originally reported, Kardashian has been renting a $25,000 per month luxurious estate for Odom, which is located near her own home, after he was released from the hospital. Kardashian chose to rent a house for Odom in an effort to avoid having to check in with him at a rehab center.

    The 6,400 square foot pad has reportedly been on a lease that is due to end next month, which Kardashian is not planning to renew, sources close to her confirmed to TMZ.

    At the time of writing, gossip outlets report that Odom is couch-surfing and staying with friends. As Celebuzz has correctly pointed out, Odom is effectively homeless at the moment.

    Furthermore, it is also worth adding that Kardashian filed for divorce in May, since she dismissed the first one’s petition, which was filed in December 2013, just a few weeks before getting validated, due to Odom’s drug overdose in the Nevada brothel.

    The second filling includes all the details that the couple had agreed on in the first divorce, while a prenup exists as well. Besides various financial settlements, Kardashian has stated in the past that she will be legally dropping the Odom name and go back to her maiden handle.

    Kardashian has reportedly based the divorce claiming  irreconcilable differences. Since the divorce was filed in California, it will take a six-month time frame for it to become final.

    Famous hip-hop artist, Lil Wayne, has been once again hospitalized after suffering a seizure moments before he was supposed to perform at a Las Vegas event.

    Wayne was immediately sent to ICU — intensive care unit — where he spent some time before doctors managed to rebalance his condition.

    TMZ’s report says that the doctors’ verdict suggests that Wayne’s seizure resulted from issues with the medication he has been taking. According to people close to the matter, Wayne’s physicians have been struggling the past few months to determine the proper balance for his prescripted medicines.

    Doctors also mentioned that the specific seizure can be considered as ‘severe‘. The incident took place sometime last week, and since then Wayne has been released and is currently resting in Miami, Florida.

    It is worth noting here that Wayne has epilepsy, a fact that is irrefutably linked to his series of seizures.

    In the past few weeks, Wayne had gone through a similar episode as well, only that time the seizures occurred while he was flying on his private jet plane, which is the primary mean of transportation for the artist’s cross-country tour.

    The private jet was forced to do two emergency landings due to Wayne’s sudden seizure attack, in both of which the hip-hop singer was hospitalized.

    Building on the report that his physicians have, until now, failed to figure a correct balance for Wayne’s medication, TMZ suggested that a Promethazine and Codeine syrup cocktail which the artist was seen drinking before boarding the flight, could be the culprit behind the two emergency landings.

    Though, sources close to Wayne confirmed to the gossip outlet that the incident was a result of Wayne not taking his medications.

    Furthermore, Wayne had successfully managed to hit the stage at his scheduled E3 2016 performance, just a few days after the two in-flight seizures had taken place.

    Wayne’s latest missed performance would have been at a pre-UFC 200 party at the TAO nightclub in Sin City.

    Consumer Reports have tested Samsung’s recently launched Galaxy S7 Active waterproof capability, and their findings claim that the device cannot properly survive under the conditions the company told its customers it can.

    After Samsung released the Lil Wayne ad, during which the rap artist poured champagne on the device and then dunked it in a fish tank, Consumer Reports decided to take a look at the matter on their own.

    More specifically, the renowned reviews outlet submerged two units of the model in a water tank pressurized to 2.12 pounds per square inch, which is the same pressure they would experience at a depth of five feet.

    The South Korean giant had suggested in the past that all three variants of the S7 meet the IP68 certification criteria for water-resistance, which requires a device to be able to survive submersion in five feet of water for 30 minutes straight.

    Despite that particular claim, the test’s result seems to prove otherwise, since both units performed disappointingly. The first unit’s touch-screen was rendered useless, while the display started projecting a series of green lines. Bubbles had infiltrated its front and rear cameras as well.

    When it comes to the second device, it too failed the test but reacted in a different manner, as its display turned on and off “every few seconds,”, while water infiltrated its cameras and SIM card slot too.

    Consumer Reports mentioned in their article that, after the two handsets were dried out, both of them could be powered on when plugged in, though their touchscreens had been completely disabled from the water.

    Samsung’s response to Consumer Reports’ test, which has now gone viral, suggests that they haven’t received any complaints from users regarding such an issue yet, and that the website might have used two faulty units.

    Overall, the Galaxy S7 Active, aimed for the outdoors-type smartphone users, is the sole member of the S7 family to fail the test, as the other two, the proper S7 and the S7 Edge, have both gone through Consumer Reports’ test successfully, while they are also considered as the best phones of the year by the website.

    New study suggests that Exercise helps Breast Cancer Survivors tackle Memory Loss

    A new study has emerged online, from the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, claiming that physical exercise helps breast cancer survivors reduce the possibility of facing sudden memory loss or developing negative emotions.

    Siobhan Phillips, assistant professor of preventive medicine at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago and lead author of the paper, told the Sentinel’s health column that moderate or vigorous physical activity significantly contributes to women having a positive psychology and sharpens up their memory skills.

    Dr. Phillips also mentioned that despite post-cancer issues with memory being often connected to chemotherapy, or radiation treatments, as known as “chemo brain”, her latest findings also allege that issues of such nature could have to do with the survivor’s emotions, and how one addresses the incident from an emotional perspective.

    Additionally, Dr. Phillips elaborated on the latter claim, highlighting that women who have successfully undergone breast cancer treatment are frightened, stressed, fatigued and possess a low sense of self-esteem, which can lead to memory issues in the near future.

    When it comes to the research’s specifics, Dr. Phillips and her colleagues have accumulated and processed data from 1,800 breast cancer survivors, three hundred and sixty-two of whom were fitted with devices called “accelerometers”, which enabled the paper’s scientists to monitor every participant’s activities.

    When the data process was completed, two groups were created; survivors with moderate or vigorous physical activity, both of which appeared to have reduced stress and fatigue, compared to the rest of the survivors who participated.

    Furthermore, Dr. Phillips did clarify that fast walking, jogging, biking or joining exercise classes, were the physical exercises involved during the procedure.

    On a less relevant note, it is worth mentioning that breast cancer, along with skin cancer, is the most common type of the disease amongst women in the United States, according to intel released by CDC.

    Breastcancer.org also claims that one in eight women in the U.S. is highly probable to develop breast cancer during her lifetime, which accounts for 12% of the country’s female population.

    Report: Ex-Fox News show hostess, Gretchen Carlson, not the only Roger Ailes victim

    NEW YORK CITY, NY – New reports have surfaced online, from alleged victims of Fox News chairman, Roger Ailes, following the sexual harassment lawsuit filed against him by Gretchen Carlson, former host of ‘Fox & Friends’.

    After the lawsuit was officially issued, a number of Fox News on-air personalities reached to the media anonymously, to reveal that the incident does not come as much of a surprise to them, knowing that the channel’s chairman and Carlson were at odds.

    “We thought it would happen after she was taken off of ‘Fox & Friends,’” said one Fox News source who asked to remain anonymous. “She kept quiet because Roger gave her the afternoon show, but everyone at Fox knew it was eventually coming. He hated her and would tell people that she was ‘a crazy, vindictive bitch.’”

    Other sources that work for the channel suggest that the concept of a lawsuit first came up back in 2013, when Carlson was dismissed from the Fox & Friends show, though the conflict was settled when Ailes agreed to give her the afternoon show and therefore Carlson did not move forwards with any legal procedures.

    Carlson was hosting the “Fox & Friends” morning program from 2006 until 2013, when, allegedly, she was removed due to issuing complaints about her male co-host Steve Doocy.

    As far as the lawsuit is concerned, in speficic, Carlson accuses Ailes of mockery when complaining about unequal treatment by male colleagues, and that she was demoted to the afternoon show as retribution, coupled with a severe cut to her payment. Furthermore, Carlson alleges that Fox News chairman demanded her to engage in sexual contact with him, thus making it possible for her to improve her standing at Fox News.

    Carlson also mentions in the lawsuit that during these particular occasions, Ailes once told her to “turn around so he could view her posterior.”

    Following in the steps of Carlson, at the time of writing, ten women have reached to her attorney, Nancy Erika Smith, to report similar encounters they had with Ailes.

    One female contributor said, “He asked me to turn around so he can see my ass,”, describing one of her meetings with the chairman.

    Another Fox News employee claims that Ailes told her she could only wear dresses on air. She also mentioned a story regarding Ailes hiring process for on-camera personalities.

    “He always brags to people about how he doesn’t do polling or testing when he chooses his on-air talent. He told me that if he was thinking of hiring a woman, he’d ask himself if he would fuck her, and if he would, then he’d hire her to be on-camera. He then said if it was a man he’d think about whether he could sit down for a baseball game with him and not get annoyed of him. If he could, then he’d hire him.”

    Carlson’s lawsuit concludes with the allegation that Ailes fired her for refusing the chairman’s sexual advances.

    Snapchat, the popular photo and video messaging social network, has just released a new update that allows users to save snaps on their smartphones and tablets.

    The company’s key selling point is based on the fact that photos or videos that users send to each other don’t last longer than a minute, though it seems Snapchat has taken a sudden turn around with the new addition.

    Memories, as the new feature is called, allows users to save their own Snaps or Stories to their devices, but they would have to enable the particular option before sending them to friends.

    Snapchat mentioned in its respective blog post,

    “Memories is a new way to save Snaps and Stories on Snapchat. It’s a personal collection of your favorite moments that lives below the Camera screen. You can use Memories to create new Stories from Snaps you’ve taken, or even combine different Stories into a longer narrative! It’s fun to celebrate an anniversary or birthday by finding a new few old Snaps and stringing them together into a new Story.“

    The procedure to save a snap is very simple; all the user has to do is  tap the new save button on the lower left-hand side of the screen before sharing it with their friends. From then on, the photo or video is stored solely within the app, where you can access it and the rest of the saved photos by swiping up from the Camera.

    The Verge notes that rectangular posts are individual Snaps, while Stories are tagged with a circular shape.

    Furthermore, Snapchat has integrated Memories with a genuinely advanced searching system. Users can find a specific Snap based on time and the location where it was taken. Thanks to object recognition search, you can also look for a Snap or Story based on an element that makes it stand out, such as the ‘sea’, or the ‘sunset’.

    If you type ‘sunset’, all photos featuring the sunset will be displayed.

    When it comes to Snaps that users wants to keep to themselves, there is an option dubbed ‘My Eyes Only’, allowing to lock a Snap or Story by flagging it with the particular feature.

    Trump’s first campaign ad was released on the first Monday of 2016. The 30-second ad underscores Trump’s position on critical issues including terrorism, immigration and foreign policy while chipping in a few of his most controversial quotes.

    It starts with a shot of Barrack Obama and Hilary Clinton, alongside each other, before ushering in a snapshot of the two San Bernardino shooters Syed Rizwan Farook and Tashfeen Malik. A deep-voiced narrator then begins, “The politicians can pretend it’s something else, but Donald Trump calls it radical Islamic terrorism.”

    The narrator’s voice proceeds to outline Trump’s call for a “shutdown” of all Muslims coming into the US, declare that the GOP frontrunner would “cut the head of ISIS” and “take their oil” and ends with the narrator affirming that Trump would build the famous wall along the US-Mexico border that “Mexico will pay for.”

    Reportedly costing $4 million, the ad offered a chance for Trump to reinforce his message across the mass media. It is not clear whether Trump paid for the ad using his own money or from money from some of his sponsors.

    Before the ad, Trump had said he did not see the need for ads. He confidently told CBS, “Face the Nation” on Sunday, “I don’t think I need the ads, but I’m doing them. I almost feel guilty.”

    The billionaire mogul is leading in early polls in all states except in Iowa where he is locked in a tough battle with Sen. Ted Cruz.

    Barely a day into the ad’s running and it was already attracting criticism from the Democrats. According to Justin Barasky, communication’s director of the Hillary Clinton Super PAC Priorities USA, “Donald Trump’s new ad is more of the same disgusting and offensive demagoguery we’ve come to expect from the GOP front-runner.”

    When Dmitri Ivanovich Mendeleev formulated his Periodic Law and created his version of the Periodic table, he never imagined that one day the Periodic Table will have more than 100 elements. Mendeleev classified the elements by their increasing Atomic Weights and thus created a table with many gaps of unknown elements. It helped to in the discovery of many unknown elements. Chemistry notebooks are going to be rewritten again.

    Chemists will have to add four more new elements in their periodic table. As of now they will be known by their working name- ununseptium and ununtrium — two of the four new elements whose discovery has been officially verified. These elements have an atomic number 113, 114, 115, 117, and 118 according to IUPAC and will soon have a new and permanent name soon.

    It has been four years since the discovery of elements 114 (flerovium, or Fl) and element 116 (livermorium or Lv) which were then added to the periodic table. The 7th period is complete as per IUPAC.

    The elements were discovered in laboratories across Japan, Russia and the United States. The element 113 was discovered by a team at the Riken Institute.

    Paul Karol, chair of the IUPAC’s Joint Working Party, announcing the new elements said that it was not an easy task since these new elements decay into completely unknown isotopes.

    According to International guidelines for choosing a name, any link to a mythological concept, a mineral, a place or a country, a scientist can be used.

    It brings to the question –Why are scientists looking for new elements? The answer is they are hoping to find an element or a series of elements that are stable and useful for people. The quest for new elements also leads to a better understanding of the way atoms are joined and behave in different circumstances.

Medium and heavy commercial vehicle sales have jumped by more than 35.33% to 9,758 units in December.  Last year the company had sold 7,210 in the same month. LCV accounted for 2,451 units which show a growth of 17.83%.

    TRAI and Operators are once again going to lock horns on the vexed question of drop call regulations which has become active from January 1st. The operators are defiant and contend that they will pay compensation only after the courts orders them to do so.

    An official from the Telecom Regulatory Authority told PTI that all operators have been reminded about the regulations about call drops. The regulatory authority said that it expects the players to put into place a mechanism to enforce these laws and compensate consumers for call drops.

    TRAI had amended the Telecom Consumers Protection Regulations on October 16, 2015, and added a rider to ensure that consumers are paid for call drops caused due to technical glitches or other reasons. Operators were asked to shell out Rs 1 for each call dropped, and a compensation cap has been fixed at Rs 3.On their part Telecom Operators have approached the Delhi High Court against this order, and the current position is fluid and if the court orders, Telecom regulators will pay the compensation. However, for now, they are ignoring the latest missive from TRAI.

    Ashok Sud, Secretary General of Association of Unified Telecom Service Providers of India, observed that the subject is sub-judice, and they will follow the decision of the Honorable High Court.

    Meanwhile, TRAI has told the court that it does not intend to coerce the Telecom regulators to enforce the new regulations until the next date of hearing on January 6.

    Cellular Operators Association of India, ‘AUSPI’ and 21 telecom operators that include major service providers like Vodafone, Bharti Airtel, and Reliance has said that operators are unable to implement it due to the inherent difficulties, and this fact has been brought to the notice of the court.
