Dylan Ryals: Founder and Editor in Chief
Dylan holds a B.A. in Journalism with a concentration in entertainment reporting and has 12 years of newsroom experience across print and digital. He specializes in cover features, artist profiles, and awards-season strategy, and has moderated panels at film and music festivals. His work received a regional SPJ recognition for arts and culture coverage. Off duty he collects vintage tour tees and runs before sunrise. At Pop Army he sets editorial standards, greenlights investigations and exclusives, and leads tentpole event coverage.

Don Miller: Music Director
Don earned a B.M. in Music Business and a minor in Data Analytics, bringing 9 years in label promotions and music journalism. His expertise spans release strategy, touring economics, radio and streaming charts, and live production. He has served on juries for independent music awards and regularly guest-lectures on artist marketing. He plays bass on the weekends and keeps a meticulous vinyl catalog. Don runs our release calendar, leads festival desks, and edits reviews and chart breakdowns.

Jayne Jones: Fashion and Red-Carpet Editor
Jayne holds a B.F.A. in Fashion Communication and has 8 years of experience across styling, runway reporting, and editorial fashion writing. She specializes in red carpet analysis, designer histories, and beauty trends that cross over from set to street. Her Met Week social series won a branded content award for live coverage. She loves thrift hunting, museum days, and early call times. Jayne directs lookbooks, builds designer dossiers, and oversees style guides for award shows and premieres.

Tanya Williams: Film and TV Editor
Tanya graduated with an M.A. in Cinema Studies after a B.A. in Media Production and brings 10 years of work in criticism, set reporting, and showrunner interviews. She focuses on casting dynamics, writers-room trends, and the business stories behind what gets made. Her festival dispatches have been cited by trade outlets, and she won a critics’ circle award for a year-end essay on limited series storytelling. She hikes coastal trails and hosts a neighborhood screening club. Tanya manages review pipelines, edits features and Q&As, and coordinates awards-season screeners and ballots.

Together they deliver fast, accurate, and stylish coverage that makes Pop Army both credible and fun to read.
